The Battlefield 6 Free Trial on Steam is now available, and all players should be able to download the multiplayer files and jump into the game during the free period until October 19, 2026, 17:00 UTC.

Following the launch of Season 5, backend configuration changes resulted in an unintended issue affecting XP earn rates across modes and hardware progression (such as weapons).

These backend changes have now been reverted, and our team is actively monitoring telemetry to ensure earn rates return to intended levels across all experiences.
